This Privacy Policy explains what information Autoblogging.dev (“we”, “us”, “our”) collects, how we use it, and your rights regarding your data. By using our Service you agree to the collection and use of information as described in this policy.

1. Information We Collect

1.1 Account Information. When you install our WordPress plugin, we automatically collect your WordPress admin email address and your WordPress site URL. This is used to create and manage your license key.

1.2 Payment Information. Payments are processed by Stripe. We do not store your credit card or bank details. We receive and store transaction IDs, payment amounts, and the pack purchased from Stripe.

1.3 Agreement Records. When you tick the Terms of Service checkbox prior to purchasing credits, we record your email address, IP address, WordPress site URL, timestamp, browser user agent, and the full text of the agreement you accepted. This data is retained indefinitely for legal and dispute resolution purposes.

1.4 Usage Data. We log each article generation event including your license key, category, focus keyword, article title, word count, token usage, and timestamp. This data is used for billing, cost management, and service improvement.

1.5 Technical Data. Our servers automatically record your IP address and browser user agent when your plugin communicates with our backend API. We use this for security, fraud prevention, and abuse detection.

2. How We Use Your Information

  • To create and manage your license key and credit balance
  • To process payments and add credits to your account
  • To generate articles on your behalf via the Claude AI API
  • To send you transactional emails such as low credit notifications
  • To detect and prevent fraud, abuse, and chargebacks
  • To comply with legal obligations and respond to lawful requests
  • To resolve payment disputes with Stripe or other financial institutions

3. Data Sharing

3.1 Third Party Services. We share data with the following third parties to operate the Service:

  • Anthropic (Claude API) — Article content requests are sent to Anthropic’s API. We send category, keywords, and site context. We do not send personally identifiable information to Anthropic. Anthropic’s privacy policy applies to data processed by their API.
  • Stripe — Payment processing. Stripe receives transaction data including amount, item description, and your license key as a reference. Stripe’s privacy policy governs data processed during checkout.
  • Hostinger — Our backend infrastructure is hosted on Hostinger servers in the European Union.

3.2 Legal Disclosure. We may disclose your information to law enforcement, courts, or other authorities if required by law or if we believe disclosure is necessary to protect our rights, prevent fraud, or comply with a legal process.

3.3 Dispute Resolution. In the event of a payment dispute or chargeback, we will share agreement records, generation logs, IP addresses, and timestamps with Stripe, financial institutions, and if necessary, legal authorities.

3.4 No Sale of Data. We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to any third party for marketing purposes.

4. Data Retention

  • License and account data — retained for the lifetime of your account
  • Agreement records — retained indefinitely for legal protection
  • Generation logs — retained for a minimum of 2 years
  • Transaction records — retained for a minimum of 7 years for financial compliance
  • Server logs — retained for 90 days

5. Data Security

We take reasonable technical measures to protect your data including encrypted database connections, API signature verification on all requests, and access-controlled admin panels. However no system is completely secure and we cannot guarantee absolute security of your data.

6. Your Rights

Depending on your location you may have the following rights regarding your personal data:

  • Access — request a copy of the data we hold about you
  • Correction — request correction of inaccurate data
  • Deletion — request deletion of your data, subject to our legal retention obligations. Note that agreement records and transaction records may be retained regardless of deletion requests for legal compliance purposes.
  • Portability — request your data in a machine-readable format

7. Cookies

Our WordPress plugin does not set cookies on visitor browsers. Our marketing website (autoblogging.dev) may use standard WordPress cookies for session management. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.

8. Children’s Privacy

Our Service is not directed at children under the age of 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information please contact us and we will delete it.

9. International Transfers

Our servers are located in the European Union. If you access our Service from outside the EU your data may be transferred to and processed in the EU. By using our Service you consent to this transfer.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date. Continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised policy.
